We have witnessed children who once faced a bleak future graduate from college and earn life-securing jobs on their own merit. We have seen adults break free from the cycle of poverty through skill development. Literacy Classes
Over the past 6 years, SPANDAN: A Voice of Effort has ignited the spark of knowledge and hope across the canvas of its vibrant learning centers. Within these centers, the lives of over hundreds of children have been woven with threads of positive impact, creating a canvas of dreams, skills and resilience.
We provide remedial-literacy classes that enable children to conquer educational challenges at our treasured Bhopura center in Ghaziabad. Here, we champion the cause of ‘Waste-Warriors,’ identified in layman’s terms as rag pickers. We don’t just provide education; we nurture dreams and potential by offering remedial and educational classes. Nutritional needs are met with balanced, hearty meals and our commitment to holistic growth extends to free-of cost education, computer literacy, and a vibrant array of co-curricular activities.
The transformation we have witnessed, truly sets us apart. After only 6 months of learning, children from underprivileged families in our care can:
- Master Hindi Alphabets: They confidently identify, read, and write the building blocks of their native language.
- Conquer English Alphabets: The mysteries of the English language unravel before their eager eyes, enabling them to read and write with newfound confidence.
- Count with Mastery: From basic counting to numbers up to 100, these young learners embrace the beauty of numbers in both English and Hindi, opening doors to a world of possibilities.
- Empower themselves: Equipped with these fundamental skills they can write their own names and be guided towards a brighter future.
